OAKLAND:

Trapxart Halloween

What is it? Combination art show, dance party, and fashion show. Not for the faint of style. Bottle service available.

ALAMEDA:

USS Hornet Monsters Bash: Live Music & Costume Contest

Saturday, Oct. 29, 7:30 p.m. - 1 a.m.

Ages: 16+. Guests aged 16 and 17 must have adult chaperone.

Tickets: $30. $20 for museum members
Costumes: Highly encouraged

What is it? A spooky dance party onboard the USS Hornet, with live music by The Cocktail Monkeys. The costume contest has cash prizes, including $300 for the First Place winner! Full bar and food available for purchase.

Location: USS Hornet Museum, 707 W Hornet Ave Alameda, CA 94501

RICHMOND:

6th Annual Point Richmond Haunted Halloween History Hike

Saturday, October 29, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Ages: All ages

Admission: $20 in advance, $25 same day. Kids 12 and under are free.

Hosted By: Urban History Hikes

What is it? Karen Buchanan leads you through downtown Point Richmond and surrounding areas, recounting historic and spooky local stories about the Hotel Mac, Hanging House, Abbott Hospital, and more.

Location: Meet at starting point, Indian Statue Park.

Accessibility? Unknown. Assumed to be outdoors and require two hours of walking and standing.

SAN RAMON:

Tri-Valley Halloween Con 2022

Sunday, Oct. 30, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Ages: All ages

Admission: $12. Kids 9 and under are free. Free parking. Autographs/photos with featured guests not included.

Hosted By: Bay Area Festivals, American Brick Builders

Featured Guests: Robert Mukes (Rufus Firefly Jr. in House of 1000 Corpses) and Mary Gibbs the voice of beloved Boo in Monsters, Inc.

Costumes: Encouraged! There is a costume contest with cash prizes for different age groups.

All things pop culture including toys, collectibles (new and vintage), anime, LEGO, comics, art, jewelry and much more will be featured at this family-friendly show

Safety: “Everyone who feels more comfortable wearing a face covering is encouraged to do so.”

G&M Farms Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze

Hours Vary, October 1-30, 2022. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Hayride, pedal carts, cow train, jump pillows, and pony rides are open weekends.

What is it? A family-friendly pumpkin patch that can’t be beat! Don’t miss the 6-acre corn maze, the fresh produce, and cute farm animals.

OAKLAND:

Boo at the Zoo!

Every day from October 22-31, 2022, from 10:00am to 4:00pm
Ages: All ages

Admission: Tickets must be reserved online.

Costumes: Yes! No inflatables for comfort of zoo animals.

What is it? Self-guided scavenger hunt to trick-or-treat for animal trading cards throughout the Zoo.

Accessibility? Unknown. No accessibility page on zoo website. Masks recommended in indoor exhibits and where distancing is not possible.
